I first learned of Dogs Unlimited Rescue when I saw the most beautiful beagle/basset mix available for adoption. He had been in a shelter in West Virginia for over one-and-a-half years! He became mine! And two years later he is still the most wonderful little guy! I then became a Volunteer/Foster Mom. It was new to me, never being in rescue before, but it is the most wonderful and rewarding experience! DUR is the greatest organization out there! They spare no expense in helping the animals in need. Gina Lutes is one of the most loving, giving people I've ever met! Not just with the animals, but with her volunteers too! She takes great care of everyone involved!

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

I wouldn't change a thing! The only thing I would add is more volunteers and more donations so we can rescue more animals in need!!!

When I started volunteering for DUR, I was very new to dog rescues. I had only worked with one other rescue and that time was very limited. Dogs Unlimited Rescue has stolen my heart. They take any dog no matter the situation and give him/her the best life possible. The director, leaders, and volunteers of this rescue care for every single one of those dogs. Each dog receives the specialized treatment and care they need and deserve. DUR really is unlimited in their gifts, time, and talents! This is a very special organization!

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

find more volunteers, fosters, and donors to be able to help more dogs with such amazing care!

I volunteer and foster for this rescue and let me tell you, I had to go through a few rescues to find the special one that is truly out there 110% for the dogs and absolutely nothing else. Dogs Unlimited Rescue will spare no expense or time to heal the worst of the worst. And if they're full, they will help find another place for others to go. The director, Gina Lutes, is truly an amazing person who is a non-stop, energetic dog advocate. Simpoy an amazing organization where every penny is spent and NEEDED for the care of these neglected and abused animals.

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

every day living!! This rescue makes sure each dog has the attention he/she needs and all the medical care. They also treat their volunteers in highest regards and appreciate every little thing someone does to help! Truly amazing.

I wouldn't change a thing which is completely unusual for me! I can normally mention a million things but in this case, I cannot. The volunteers are treated well, the dogs are fully cared for and homed to be loved for the remainder of their lives. It's a terfific organization to support and I'm very honored to be a part of it.
