I'm a professional dog trainer/behaviour therapist and I have used Doggone Safe material for years to educate my clients. I just love their programs! From the Doggone Crazy Board game, Be A Tree Programs to all their bite prevention and safety programs; each have been an invaluable tool. Clients have always found all the material not only informative but fun and easy to understand. Joan and Theresa have done an amazing job with these programs and have always been helpful and supportive in sharing their tools. Keep up the good work & thanks for all that you do :)

I am a professional Pet Sitter and also teach the "Be A Tree" program to school age children. The one thing that always breaks my heart is to hear of a child being bit by an animal, esp. a dog or the family pet. So often it wasn't the pets fault, just the lack of knowledge. Doggone Safe provides an excellent teaching tool to keep pets and their families safe. I highly recommend that the "Be A Tree" be taught to all school age children and their parents. It's an excellent program.

I am a Certified Humane Education Specialist and I use Doggone Safe Be a Tree program for everything from preschool to adult. I especially like the beautiful photos. They are clear in being able to read the dog's feelings. I have used this presentation to thousands of people over the years. Even adults learn from these presentations. Our dog training classes have also used this outstanding resource. Their Doggone Crazy game is a huge hit for our camps. I have even taken the flash cards from the game to make Trivial Pawsuit Games for larger crouds. We have also used their article models to do press releases during some key holiday times. Great stuff and a wonderful resource. Thank you so much for providing such professional materials to those of us in need.

I am a Pediatric Emergency Room Nurse, and a Certified Professional Dog Trainer. Did you know that ER's across the United States see and average of 1000 dog bites a day! Dog bites have been too long viewed as environmental accidents that cannot be prevented.

I am a certified Dog Trainer and President of our local Animal Shelter. Over the years I have used many different resources in my presentations to local schools and animal welfare groups. I find the materials from Doggone Safe to be the most effective and informative and they are the primary source of my presentation information.

I am a Certified Professional Dog Trainer and have used this information to help educate both parents and children on how to interact with their dog along with both strange and familiar dogs. This wonderful program makes it very easy to explain in simple understandable language what they need to stay safe. I also present this program to schools, church groups, boy and girl scouts. When I present Dog Gone Safe to others I feel I am making a difference.

I am a professional dog trainer and provide in-home training. I am often able to use the Doggone Safe material to show families how certain situations may be causing their own dog to feel stressed and anxious. In addition I live in a densely populated, diverse neighborhood. Many people are uncomfortable with dogs but the Doggone Safe program gives me a way to educate and inform people that we meet.

It never ceases to amaze me that children as well as adults will walk right up to a dog in the local pet supply stores and just start to pet it. I have personally stopped several children and explained how to ask to pet a dog and how to approach a dog. It never occured to me about teaching dog body language to children and adults until I found Doggone Safe's website. I have taken every opportunity presented to relay the information I learned as well as direct parents to the website for more information and pictures so they know what to look for. If I have stopped one mishap from occuring, they we all win.

Include more body language pictures that show more than just the relaxed or tense dog. Examples could include front paw lifting (sign of stress), whites of the eyes showing (whale-eye indicating fear. Could bring about fear aggression), lip licking (also a sign of stress), etc.

Doggone Safe is a wonderful organization that strives to do it's best to educate the public on bite prevention. Having purchased the Be A Tree Program Kit I can honestly say it allows me to carry out their message to my clients with children. The kit contains materials that I can use to really hit home the message about bite prevention. I will continue to support this cause and and applaud their efforts to help spread the word about this important topic.
