Divine Mercy Care is a wonderful organization that lives by one of my favorite questions, "What would Jesus do?" They always choose what I think Jesus would and serve those in need with love, understanding, generosity and care.

Dr. Bruchalski and his staff are one of a kind. I have been going to Tepeyac Family Center since 1995 and have attended all of the Divine Mercy Care Galas. It is so comforting to go to a place that cares so much about you, your children, and your faith. There is a certain peace you feel there; something you just do not find in other doctors' offices. You have to experience it to know what I am talking about, but it is clear that the Holy Spirit has touched this place for sure.

My daughter Rosie had her first baby at Fair Oaks Hospital with Divine Mercy Care. Rosie is a small woman, and the baby was large. Labor turned out to be a grueling, 60-hour experience, but Rosie's wishes were respected at all times. Most doctors and practices would have automatically done a C-section with a labor that long, but DMC personnel made sure that Rosie didn't have to do that, because she really didn't want to. Rosie recovered quickly, as did baby John Paul. At almost a year old, he's still wonderfully healthy. Our whole family is VERY pleased with DMC!

The care of these doctors and their patients certainly is rare. I have been through many doctors in the Northern Virginia area and have yet to find any practice like this. Their professionalism, care and faith is certainly wonderfully special and unique. One of a kind!

DMC's expert docs use warm, correct sized small speculum for my gynecologic exam. My neighbors praised DMC & referred me after the sad miscarriage of their last child (the girl they longed for). Dr. Bruchalski is a compassionate, competent, insightful surgeon/OBGYN. Drs. Anderson, Martin, Fisk & NP Fran Black exceeded my expectations also. They alleviated my menopausal symptoms (insomnia/depression)& successfully treated my daughter's metabolic syndrome (She suffered from 2 periods a month). Support staff is organized, efficient & humane.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

For 6 years these docs have provided unprecedented attention & time when I needed it most, despite waiting room full of patients & their families. The doctors mentor husbands/fathers, building their confidence to assume family leadership/protective role.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

plan to recruit similarly empathic & expert doctors since their great reputation is drawing more & more families.

Ways to make it better...

We had the option to book our annual appointments 12 months ahead rather than 2 months only (that way we can ensure continuity of care from our preferred doctor at our annual visit).

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

Financial security since DMC provides care to patients without insurance or income.

One thing I'd also say is that...

With the exception of Divine Mercy Care at the Tepeyac Family Center, "non-profit" Medicine is an oxymoron in our material world.

I have been a member for approximately 10 years attending the center. The staff is always professional and when you are having issues Dr. B prays with you and the prayers were answered. I have also received calls from the Dr when I had concerns about any medical issue and needed to have a questions answered. What a wonderful place to go.
