How do you start, when you owe the care of your 9 children to Dr. Bruchalski and Divine Mercy Care the first two we lost in Connecticut when were not even an official patient we called to ask his opinion and he helped us through a difficult time when we lost those first two. Dr. Bruchalski, Dr. Anderson delivered our babies and we are forever indebted to them! Thank you many times over.

The Great!

Divine Mercy Care has been an ever-present practice in my life. Their doctors have been my doctors since I was born. Their doctors have delivered me (Thanks Dr. McCauley!), helped me through the hormonal effects of a brain tumor at age 12, and have since delivered my 4 babies happily and healthfully. They are committed to the well being of all of their patients. Many doctors would have put me on the pill when my hormones were thrown off as a 12 year old, but not the doctors at Divine Mercy Care. They didn't want to mask the problem they wanted to find the source of the problem, which ended up being a brain tumor. Thank God for Tepeyac!

I had heard so much about the practice and Dr Bruchalski in particular I started going there for my gyn checkups. I went with my daughter when she had a problem with her pregnancy. Dr Bruchalski said he would pray for my daughter and her unborn baby every day. He was very reassuring about her problem and she ended up with a healthy baby boy. The other thing I like about the practice is how they care for women who cannot afford to pay. I am happy to support such a wonderful organization.

TFC/DMC is an organization like no other. They are a non-profit that really sticks out as far as their mission, because they are not afraid to defend life; even in dire circumstances. In a field that sometimes paints women into corners, with little choices for HEALTH, Divine Mercy Care encourages them to appreciate their bodies, works with them to bring life into the world, and consoles them in times of need. There are few healthcare professionals who can boast the same.

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

seeing the way it has touched and changed the lives of families; through treating patients, but also promoting life and charity care. THe organization gives hope to those women who feel like the whole world just doesn't care.

I found the doctors and staff at Tepeyac not only gave great medical care but they treated the whole person. They helped me to gain greater understanding and to mature, as well as to be heathy. Many doctors are content to give you medication instead of building an understanding of how your body works- but not those at Tepeyac.

Dr. Bruchalski counseled me by phone on a Sunday evening and also in an exam to back up my diagnosis and prognosis to have a 15 hour breast cancer operation at Johns Hopkins which included a bilateral mascectomy and microscopic reconstruction via DIEP flap. He has been my gyn/OB for years and even let my nursing student daughter assist in the delivery of my youngest son. This practice is always helping people, especially the poor. I love the prayerful way that they practice which is not like anywhere else that I've ever been. It really means so much to the patients especially those in rough times.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

My successful fight with breast cancer, with the birth of my son, with my yearly exams.

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Give them more money to do their amazing work as they never turn anyone in need away.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

Dr. Bruchalski's counseling of me through my scary and extensive breast cancer operation and also his letting my UVA nursing student daughter assist in the birth of my son (her brother). Also, the healing through prayer that they practice.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

amazing, caring; Dr. B even talked to me on a Sunday night

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

help more poor people and keep from going under because of high insurance costs

Ways to make it better...

n/a

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

monetary and being insured and Obamacare

One thing I'd also say is that...

Dr. Bruchalski deserves a Nobel Peace Prize

I was blessed by being cared for by the doctors at Tepeyac. They provided wonderful prenatal care during my second pregnancy. My beliefs were respected in a way I had never before experienced in health care: it was a beautiful harmony of physical, emotional and spiritual care. If I still lived in the States, I would be seeking their care again.

I can't say enough about Divine Mercy Care, and specifically, the Tepeyac Family Center. I couldn't believe my ears when someone told me about this pro-life doctor's office that was within 3 miles of my home! As a newly-converted Catholic, I felt it was further affirmation of my new-found faith in the Church. I love the role that Tepeyac plays for people like me...I have insurance but benefit from being surrounded by strong, Catholic doctors in a contraceptive-free place...but I also love what it does for other, less privileged people, providing free healthcare to those who need it. We need more places like Tepeyac to fight "the machine" of Planned Parenthood with the Truth and with genuine love, care & concern for mother and baby. God is doing amazing things through Divine Mercy Care and I consider it an honor to be able to support them in even the smallest of ways.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

being able to support a great cause through something I have to do anyway (i.e. visit the doctor throughout pregnancy!).

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

kind, caring, and clearly love what they do and where they work.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

help serve the poor & uninsured even better than it already does.

3 of my 5 (#6 is on the way) children have been delivered by Tepeyac physicians. My 4th pregnancy in 2001 was a partial molar pregnancy and Dr. Bruchalski took amazing care of me when I actually began to miscarry, late at night, directly admitting me to the hospital to bypass the ER, praying over me before the "d'n c" that was necessary. I learned later that he had been up for quite some time and had delivered a friend's baby earlier that day. This is only one example of how the Drs. go beyond the call and I cannot imagine placing my life or that of my child's in anyone else's loving and competent hands. Tepeyac had been among the greatest blessings in my life.

This is the most safe and woman-friendly, not to mention, family-friendly health care provider I have ever experienced. You are welcomed with open arms and so is your family. I will be delivering another baby with Tepeyac in just a couple of weeks, and as I anxiously anticipate this sweet baby's arrival, I recall fondly my last delivery with Tepeyac and how at ease I felt as my doctor not only helped me in labor but also prayed for me. Tepeyac values each and every person who comes to them. You will never have to worry about your morals being compromised. Thank God there are still wholesome health care providers! Thank you, Dr. B., Dr. F., and all of the Tepeyac Staff!

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

Healthy and happy pregnancies, during which, my baby's and my life were upheld, valued, protected as sacred. I was given and continue to be given quality care. When I have called with questions, they are answered in a timely manner and counted as valuable

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Expand their building so that so many more patients and pro-life doctors could be accommodated! They are awesome!

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

I have been valued as a human being and the life of my pre born baby has been upheld, protected, valued every step of the way.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

purpose-driven. They are there to protect the lives of moms and babies. Pro-woman and family all the way!

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

spread far and wide throughout the U.S. where women, men, and families are craving to be valued as people, not "bodies" to be dealt with. They could build larger centers and expand in health care all the more.

Ways to make it better...

there were even more doctors like the ones already on staff at Tepeyac helping. They have a huge population of women and families to serve. They need more wholesome doctors and nurses to carry out the work that handful of wonderful doctors are doing there

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

the current president and health care legislation. This organization, Tepeyac, is powerful.

One thing I'd also say is that...

You get much more than you ask for when you go to Tepeyac. It is not as if you are just "seen" for an appointment, but you are appreciated and so is the life of your baby.
