Dishaa is Sanskrit means direction/path. Through Dishaa, we hope to give a sense of direction to the lives of the thousands of young children from lower strata of the society. We strongly believe that educating an individual in the family leads to social and economic upliftment of the family. By taking care of individual families, we hope to raise the social and economic status of our society. We at Dishaa also hope to constantly identify institutions engaged in providing sustainable education or technical training to the mentally and physically challenged. We hope to support these institutions financially and help them succeed in their endeavors.

Dishaa is a great organization aimed to promote a great cause in India. Dishaa supports a mulittude of smaller organizations and one pirticularly close to my heart called Gnyan Prabodh. The best thing about DISHAA is that they are very transparent about the funds collected and used ,and that makes many donators feel at ease and asures them that their money has been put to use for a good cause.Their communication schedule is very regular and clear. They have choosen to help a very needy cause and I honour the sincerity and integrity of DISHAA's leaders.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

many ways. I have seen the names of studens chosen to be helped and makes mee feel like Im personally educating a child.Thats brings a smile to may face.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

Its simplicity. The way every single penny is used for the cause and not blown away in admin or adevertising costs.

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

About every six months
