To identify with and work along the economically and socially deprived, the physically and mentally challenged - starting with children, so that they become educated, skilled and aware. Enable them to be self-reliant and enjoy a healthy, dignified and sustainable quality of life And to that end, act as a resource to and collaborate with other agencies - governmental or non-governmental, as well as suitably intervene in policy formulation.

Myself Dr. Thankam Mathew is having experience with Deepalaya organization for many years more or less it was started by 5 members through Mr. T. K Mathew, Grace Kochamma and Mr Y Chakochen. Then I was selectedas a board member. Then Again I told when I immigrated to USA I want to resigne as board member. Then Again Mr. T. K Mathew informed that you can help Deepalayua from USA. and so I could get a few people to sponsor children of Deepalaya. So that way I could help. When ever we go to India and Delhi we meet Mr. T. K Mathew , Mr Chakochen and visit the school and meet our sponsred chidrenand staff of Deepalaya. I am happy to get the sponsered child report and greeting card every year. I folow up the peolple who all sponsered chidren from USA through me. When ever Mr. T. K mathew or other excutive staff come to USa I used to meet them and discuss the work going on in Deepalaya. Our complete family Myself and My husband and 3 daughters sponsered chidren. Also we used to send sone donation to give sweets to the children of the school on our birth day and pray for us.
