This is one of the best hospitals I have ever seen. People are so kind and caring. It is like one big family. It is amazing how much high tech stuff is at Deborah. Truly an amazing hospital.
I agree with the last post. I also know that these review sites can be terrible. The only people who ever take the time to review something are the ones who had a bad experience. It seems like every time I travel I read reviews on hotels and it is always the people whose reservations were wrong, whose room was not right, or who had a problem that write a bad review. I have stayed at places that were great, but if you read it online, it sounds like the worst hotel in the world! I don't know about the boards and the reports and other things written here, but I know in my heart that Deborah is a good hospital that cares for people and I will keep selling car raffle tickets to help people who have no insurance get the heart care they need.
I have been a Chapter member for years and have seen the results of our hard work year after year. So many people I know have received good care at Deborah and in the past few years we have seen wonderful building projects -- a new patient wing, brand-new equipment and an emergency department. I am proud that everyone can get good care here. Deborah is the best.
As a former volunteer of the hospital, I have seen the great work that the staff of this hospital does for their patients first-hand. The amount of dedication has not gone unnoticed by the patients and volunteers.
I have been volunteering for 15 years at Deborah Heart and Lung. My expierence started when my seven year old son was was treated at Deborah 15 years ago. My son is now 22 years old and just graduated from College. Without Deborah my family and I would not have been able to afford the healthcare that my son needed at the time. I am not a wealthy women and the only way to thank the doctors and nurses is to volunteer every week in the hospital foundation. I drive 30 miles each week to give back to the hospital that saved my sons life. I am 75 years old and I will continue to volunteer so that someday another family will be able to receive the gift of life from Deborah Heart and Lung Center the same gift my son received 15 years ago.
