This is one of the best resources in Houston for information. As the Director of the Solange Dance Company and one of the owners of the Sirrom Studio, Dance Source Houston has broaden my base of contact..it is not just belly dance, flamence, hula but all forms of dance in Houston....and we all love to share our "dance" with everyone....keep up the good work.

CORE Performance Company operates in both Houston and Atlanta (and tours nationally and internationally). As Communications Manager for CORE Performance Company, I have worked closely with Dance Source Houston over many years in promoting Houston's dance scene generally and specifically our performances and events/workshops through their services such as the enews, website, DanceCard, Dance Table and postcard distribution. I like what they do so much, I have joined with other Atlanta dance administrators to help create DanceATL, which will offer many of the same services as DSH to the Atlanta dance community.

I'd known earlier about the newsletter--it was through word of mouth that I found out about it. They need to market the organization itself!

DSH keeps me informed of upcoming performances, reviews, workshops, and other dance related activities in Houston and surrounding areas. It provides me with opportunities for business as well as my long term personal project to document dance in Texas, via their weekly e-letter and web site. The elisting also provides me with the opportunity to advertise my photography services along with showcasing performances in Texas. DSH also occasionally hires me to cover their Dance Festival at the MIller, and other performances (such as the Dance USA show).
