Curric has allowed me to place my teaching materials within the public domain at no cost to myself or other teachers. By sharing materials both student and teachers benefit.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

I would like to see a UK site established linked to the Education Standards used in the UK.

Curriki is a revolution. It is changing how we teach and learn while directly addressing issues of access and equity. Specifically, Curriki enables educators build and share the best Open Educational Resources from around the world, and build communities of practice to help them use and improve those materials. Throw away the textbook and join a community of teachers and learners sharing knowledge and experience openly, and for free.

For a mother or parent, a teacher or student, or even a school administrator, the benefits are great and the costs are time and passion.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

Watching teachers and students learn and feel empowered to teach and share their knowledge.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Give it a lot more resonances to work with! Curriki does so much with so little.

Empowered as a educator and proud of the impact I was going to have, forever, as a contributor to this work.
