I did have some experience in community TV production when I joined Cupertino TV Productions several years ago. I continue to be thrilled by the quality of The Better Part series which is produced by the group, of which I am an active member.

The members of this organization are smart,
creative, clever, interested in many topics and hobbies. They love sharing with and helping new members to develop TV ptoduction skills and to add new topics to the over 1100 !!! Episodes already produced.

The Better Part episodes are cablecast on many Comcast and AT&T channels in the SFO Bay area, and are also available internationally via YouTube and Roku.

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Produce more field shoots.

A great way to learn new things. Learning improves your memory and keeps you young.
Producing TV shows is fun. I had no knowledge in this field when I joined at age 74. You learn on the job, from the members and by classes at KMVT where the shows are produced. We serve the Bay Area
community with news and information. We have done numerous programs for the valley's no-profits.
The members decide on the programs we produce, maybe you have an idea for one. How do you think you friends and grand kids will react when you tell them you are a TV producer?
The club is part of the Cupertino Senior Center.

The Cupertino Senior TV Productions group was started in 1983 and have produced more than 1000 programs which have been cablecast in more than 26 cities with Community TV. We are all volunteers, are at least 50 years old, and a member of the Cupertino Senior Center. I joined the group almost four years ago with no experience. Now I am producing, directing, editing, studio crew, and the Executive Producer! Our programs are a great service to our community because our guests are local. The viewers are entertained with other non profit organizations, authors, musicians, medical professionals, ecology experts, Cupertino personnel, etc. through our 30 minute programs.
