COOKIES FOR KIDS CANCER

Cookies for Kids' Cancer is a rare wonderful group of people united all over the country with one common goal and it's to help find a cure for pediatric cancer, so that our children and beyond can have the opportunity to grow up and have a family and life of their own. When a friend told me about the group I knew I had to be a part of it, and when I read Prince Liam's story and had my first bake sale, my life had changed forever. I have always loved children although I was not blessed with my own it didn't matter all children are precious whether you give birth or not and all children our innocent babies should have a chance to have a wonderful LONG life! So this wonderful organization that I am so honored to be a part of is an organization that should be recognized the world over, it is awesome! Im looking forward to our next bake sale here in Mahopac New York!

Not everyone has cancer, but it is almost certain that everyone, at some point in their life, will be affected or will know someone that has cancer. Cookies for Kids Cancer is an organization that makes it so easy to give back! If you can’t bake cookies, you can help package cookies .if you can’t bake or package, you can sell cookies. If you can’t do any of the above you can buy and eat cookies! Planning and prepping for bake sales is easy and fun and can be done by people of all ages.

Cookies for Kids' Cancer is an awesome organization! I had the opportunity to co-host a large bake sale in South Alabama last month. A bake sale is a simple event to put together, and CFKC also allows the volunteers hosting bake sales to add to or change the event if they so feel. For instance our Bake Sale included a silent auction, live music, autograph signing (AJ McCarron w/ UA), a baseball tournament, and a bounce house. The ladies with CFKC were there to answer questions and/or to give suggestions along the way. Our event raised over $10,000.00.
Our CFKC Bake Sale was so successful that we have decided to make this an annual event.

My daughter, diagnosed at a young age with cancer, and cancer free since then, inspired me to want to do something to give back. I wanted to do something to make a difference. I started doing research, and learned of Cookies for Kids Cancer! I loved the story and the inspiration of CFKC....and what a great, realistic way to raise money for an incredible necessary cause. Early 2010, when I was organizing my first bake sale, they were so helpful and supportive and supplied the necessary advice and supplies for a successful bake sale. My first bake sale fundraiser was last year, and raised over $3,000! I completed my second one in May, in honor of Liam, and raised over $1600! I feel so great being part of an organization that helps get family, friends, children and neighbors, businesses, involved that want to give back as well.

Have a couple of extra contact individuals to be able to work a little of the time spreading the word about Cookies for Kids Cancer.. Other than that, very well organized and just LOVE them.
Cookies for Kid's Cancer is an AMAZING organization, founded by two AMAZING parents out of their love for their son, Liam. When Liam was diagnosed with cancer at 2 1/2 years old, they realized how underfunded pediatric cancer research is and vowed to make a change. They created a way for anyone to help raise money for children's cancer research. Moms, dads, sisters, brothers, grandparents, teachers, neighbors.... WHOEVER you are....you can help. Hold a bake sale, the web site walks you through it and the support from the organization along the way is outstanding. Buy some cookies for yourself, or send some to a friend.... it is so easy! I will continue to support this organization for the rest of my life, but hope that I see the day that it is no longer necessary. Until then, I will keep raising money to honor Liam who unfortunately lost his battle at the age of 6 1/2, and to help all of the other children out there still in the fight. They NEED us!

This was the most amazing organization I have ever done anything for or with. The people were all wonderful and the out pouring of love and wanting to be involved was a terrific thing to see. What a simple concept with such a tremendous impact for so many children and their families. The fact that it all started with a Mom who was dealing with the horrible sadness of trying to save her child and that she thought of cookies as a way to get the word out.. fabulous. I enjoyed doing the bake sale that we did and I really love being a part of this family now and forever. I am in for the duration until we can cure cancer in children! Thanks Gretchen and Rachel for getting us all involved.

wish that the borg. was not necessary so we would have a cure for these diseases. I would also try to enlist other huge corp. to inspire them to make something that would sell and be directly given to this cause.. which I am sure they are already doing.
Cookies for Kids' Cancer makes fundraising easy for everyone. We managed to throw together a combined bake sale & roller skating party in just two weeks, and raised over $3500 for pediatric cancer research. The planning was stress-free due to the support of all the wonderful team members at Cookies for Kids' Cancer. The website is extremely organized, user-friendly, and helpful during the entire process of hosting a bake sale. Cookies for Kids' Cancer gave our community a sweet and simple way to raise money and awareness for a serious issue. Thank you Cookies for Kids' Cancer. We will continue to spread the word!

Cookies for Kids' Cancer is by far one of the best non-profit organizations on the planet. Why? They empower moms, like me to get involved and it's so easy! You don't have to plan a 5K, kiddie carnival or gala to give back. Hosting a bake sale is easy, fun and a great way to get all your friends, family and neighbors involved with very little cost and stress. CFKC makes the process so turnkey with their bake sale kits and wonderful staff persons (2). Not to mention the cause and they fact that 100% of the bake sale proceeds go directly to pediatric cancer research. I love the mission and I love Cookies!

This organization is AWESOME! They are well organized & have all the information on their website to help you host a bake sale. Having access to that information made organizing the sale seem simple. Our youth group is a small group and they were excited to be able to be involved in such a worthy cause. Working with Cookies for Kids' Cancer has been an uplifting experience for our youth group and church community. We are blessed to have been able to participate.

We have hosted two bake sales for Cookies for Kids' Cancer and from my experience with them, I do not see anything that needs to be changed. Both sales went very smoothly, from the organization of it to sending in the funds with it was over. I do not think anything could have been simpler.
Pediatric cancer is grossly underfunded. In order for us to have an impact on the lives of children with cancer, there needs to be RESEARCH. Cookies for Kids' Cancer has empowered everyday people to make a huge impact on the world of pediatric cancer research. The organization has made huge results with the help of people simply baking cookies and selling them in their community. The concept of local bake sales brings communities together and allows the entire family to be involved in changing the world.

I have personally seen countless children in my community fall victim to pediatric cancer, Neuroblastoma specifically. I see the fight that researchers have with the lack of funding.
