CAPS is an amazing organization, helping and empowering women from all walks of life. Each woman that comes into one of their offices is met with unconditional compassion and support. A great deal of time, effort and training is put into providing the best service possible for whatever situation a woman may find herself in. I am so grateful for the opportunity to be a part of such an incredible group of volunteers.

During the almost fourteen years I volunteered at CAPS as a Counselor I witnessed firsthand the impact this place has in every client that comes in. Women from all ages come burdened with fear, confusion and uncertainty. Volunteers and staff at CAPS are able to provide a safe, non-judgemental place for these women where they find not only help and resources, but also a caring and personal environment. A comment I most usually heard after a counseling appointment was "This place is so nice, I felt comfortable and welcomed here."
CAPS will be forever in my heart, and love to tell others about it.

As a weekly volunteer at CAPS, I get to see first hand the care and concern extended to clients who find their way to our center. Counselors, staff, and medical personnel are at once professional and compassionate to each woman seeking our services. Their are also counselors available for the men who's lives are impacted by the unplanned pregnancy of wife or girlfriend, also administered with genuine concern. CAPS is positively assisting women of San Diego, whether their need is counseling, resource referral or simply stability and kindness during uncertain circumstance.

CAPS is a very unique place filled with love from the moment you enter the clinic. I have been a volunteer for just under a year and I have been humbled by the amount of compassion the staff and volunteers have for each person and their current situation. CAPS is very intentional about the level of professionalism, care offered, and keeping things up to date and current. I have friends that have needed the assistance of CAPS and were so happy that CAPS was an option!

As a volunteer in training I am so impressed with this ministry. They are a group of loving, caring people who place prayer as a top priority beginning every shift in prayer for everyone who will seek it's services as well as for each other. "And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds..."Heb. 10:24. The staff, it's leaders and volunteers all work as a team to provide a professional clinic through extensive training, continuous education along with frequent communication. They work tirelessly to maintain a safe, clean and healthy environment keeping in mind the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of everyone who walks through their doors. The greatest gift they offer is love.

I have been volunteering with CAPS for over a year now. I only have outstanding things to say about CAPS. The ministry here touches the hearts of so many women. I volunteer as a nurse, so I am able to educate women on their health and provide medical support in a time where they face many questions, are feeling scared in their current situation, or are excited for whats to come. It is such an honor to be with these women and support them in their pregnancies! I always feel supported by the staff of CAPS and look forward to serving each week; this is such an uplifting experience! I can't wait to see how we continue to grow with the opening of our third clinic!

CAPS' focus truly is to serve women well. The staff and volunteers are there because they care about women in crisis pregnancies and want them to fully know their options. Staff and volunteers are extensively trained on how to make patients feel understood, cared for, and loved.
