CTO is a uniquely effective non-profit organization. True to it's mission for over 35 years, the organization has continued to evolve to serve, while providing key education and outreach, advocacy, and empowerment for low-income tenants. In 2009, CTO was the recipient of the Anisfield-Wolf Memorial Award, largely considered the highest honor available to a Greater Cleveland non-profit organization, for it's innovative approach and efforts to assist renters caught in the web of the foreclosure crisis facing the region.
