Review from Guidestar
November 1, 2013

Clay Humane is not a shelter facility, however, that doesn't prevent people from dropping off animals from time to time. Clay Humane does not have the room for these unwanted pets but will foster or house them until they can find permanent, loving homes. I actually adopted my Walker coonhound from them and she has been a wonderful addition to my family. Right now Clay Humane is offering free spay/neuters to feral AND owned cats in Clay County at their own expense to help lower the euthanasia rate in our area. In November 2013 they will be offering $25 spay/neuters for pit bulls or pit-mixes. This is a tremendous help to our community and I recommend their vets to everyone.

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Increase the size of their facility. Clay Humane would eventually like to add a shelter facility but needs add'l funds in order to do this.
