I was an intern for this horrible place in the fall of 2011. Do yourself a favour and do never waist your time and skills working for this unorganized person. It is a one-man show that has more resemblance to a dictatorship than to a work space. One man is constantly abusing several interns. For whatever reason an old post that I have seen on this space before, is now removed. Did Robert Tolmach perhaps do that? On a google search it shows the beginning of a critical comment: "I had a terrible experience there. The guy who runs it is completely disorganized and had a bunch of volunteers working on other charities, not just Classwish which is what we'd signed up for. Also, they run several sweepstakes and never pay out..."

My review of Classwish.org will contain nothing but compliments because that is all I have to give; when I met Robert Tolmach and Renee Hooker at a New School Career Fair they did an amazing job of getting me excited about Classwish and the great work it does helping teachers pay for school supplies they do not receive the funding for, educate students about careers and their different responsibilities and qualifications, and education and mentor programs to prepare them for the difficult career world, so that they do not feel so intimidated and unprepared. The atmosphere is productive and professional but not at all stressful or overly demanding, and no suit-and-tie required for daily development and administration work! The staff has a very good understanding of the demanding lives of students from their schools, finances, etcetera and only asks for a positive attitude, passion about the program, and commitment to the goals set for realizing this unique and inspiring program. The location is convenient, the Pennsylvania Hotel on 7th avenue and 32nd street, and the work environment is spacious and comfortable, and includes refrigeration and kitchen. While constantly working towards growing the nonprofit to have the maximum impact on all students, particularly underprivileged schools and at-risk youth, my supervisor, Robert, is very friendly, specific about what he expects as far as duties, and though very professional is always ready to laugh, share anecdotes or interesting information and personal knowledge, and welcomes people of many backgrounds (our office is very international) to working towards this amazing project, which I look forward to continuing to work with and watching grow. I am happy to give a great Classwish.org review!

I am currently doing an internship at ClassWish and the experience has been amazing. This is an organization with innovative projects, and it is certainly the place for anyone who wants to help increase opportunities for k-12 students to have better equipped classrooms. Our team is great to work with, and there is always a place for new ideas.

I am currently an intern at ClassWish, and have had such a rewarding experience so far. Perhaps what I've treasured most is the opportunity to truly make an impact. I feel as though I have made a difference, and I know that I'm providing a valuable contribution to a deserving cause. I really enjoy working with the passionate people there as well. The team, though still growing, is committed to the organization's success. It's so great to be a part of it all.

I am just finishing up an internship with ClassWish and loved it. It’s got a great philosophy behind it and a very enthusiastic founder and CEO. The sky is really the limit here as we are still starting up many new projects. I’m finishing my Executive MBA this year back home in Australia at Griffith University and will continue to support and work for ClassWish from “down under”. I worked on the Decals project, so check out our site at classwish-decal.org.
