This is one of the Best NY Meals program we have in NYC. Other then 1 complaint I see & hear only good things about this agency. The 1 problem is the salary pid to Ms. Marcia Stein. $285,340 + for an agency that should use all availible funds to help the hungry I think $285,000+ is just way to much. I see other agencies who solicite public money pay their Presidents (or what-ever they call themselves) do it for FAR less money. I find it hard to want to give my hard earned money when I see how much she's paid for a job that many others do for far less. It makes me think 2-3 times before I donate. I guess I would give more or more often if this wasn't such a sticking point.

I am confindent to contribute to this organization in a time when you must be wary of how your dollars are spent. My research has shown them to be reputable. I myself have many new bills this year as my son goes to collage for the first time and my job in retail is questionable. As I find that I can make it I am actually giving them more than I have in the past as see contributions overall are down. I thank them for allowing me to help in a small way, and to keep our homebound feed with visitors. e

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

It could feed the home bound and help with more visits!
