CHRISTIAN LATINO ASSOCIATION OF MUSIC AND THE ARTS INC Reviews
The Christian Latino Association of Music & Arts (CLAMA) and RYTMO (Reaching Youth Through Music Opportunities) have experience a steady growth since we started in 2003. Despite the many fiscal challenges that most non-profits are facing today, we continue to see the community and especially teens in our community in need of programs that can connect and relate to the needs of this generation. Since 2003, we have serviced and successfully graduated over 500 youth from RYTMO. In 2009, CLAMA was awarded the Non Profit of the Year for the City of Anaheim, and in 2010 formed a formal partnership with the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. Students now have access to online classes through RYTMO!. Looking ahead, we have plans to expand our facility and programs to include video/multimedia production, video gaming, live sound, and launch Voice & Sound, a unique program created to reach young women ages 14 through 24 years utilizing songwriting and singing in building a healthy self-esteem.

Stress the importance of supporting our generation of young people today among adults. Many teens are seeking ways to express their creativity, yet many adults feel they are immature or unable to understand the importance and value of promoting and encouraging the Music & Arts in schools across the country. Let's all support them!
