CHILDS PLAY
Invite reviews
I searched for a charity where I could donate gifts for sick children for Christmas. It was Christmas and I didn't want to donate money to a hospital or for research. I wanted to help children and their parents to have a Christmas. The only website I could find to do this was Child's Play. I am not a gamer. I had never seen their website before. But, I appreciate what they do for these children and their families, as well as what they allow me to participate in.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
the fact that I have been able to send toys to children's hospitals is the only way I have experienced the results of this organization.
Ways to make it better...
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Get the website more publicity outside the gaming world. Get it on news stations; stories about the kids getting the toys. I think there are more people out there that want to participate in something like this and do not know how.

I've donated here since the very first year. This charity raises well over $1.5 million a year now all to send games and entertainment materials to children's hospitals throughout the world. And they do so with essentially no overhead.

Donating, and later when my son was hospitalized at the Detroit Children's Hospital.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
continue to add more hospitals to their list and see if it was possible to spread the word about their charity even farther abroad.
