One of the BEST kept secrets on the south side ! The pure interactive learning exhibits provide you and your child a chance to let your creativity flow. The parent will have as much fun as the child. Planning a party for your child ? This is the place to do it at. The museum staff are always available to help out and the customer service is #1.Plenty of parking is also available. You need to stop by before the secret gets out !!

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

The experiance of working with this nonprofit has been one of the most rewarding experiances I have had in my lifetime.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

ALWAYS willing to help and on top of thier game.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Expand to share to other communities what a great place it is for learning and fun for both child and parent.

Ways to make it better...

I've never had a bad experiance.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

Like any other nonprofit, its contributions and volunteer involvment.

One thing I'd also say is that...

This museum has only just begun its journey to bigger and better things.

I take my girls to the Museum at least once a month. The new location is fantastic! They've managed to offer plenty of great new exhibits while still keeping the coziness of their previous location. Its perfect place to take young kids and its the sort of place you can come back to over and over.

My experiences at the Children's Museum in Oak Lawn have always been positive. I recently brought the preschool where I am the director to the museum. The children had a wonderful time. Knowing that CMOL has designed the exhibits with the Illinois Learning Standards in mind, makes the experience even better.

Being a member of the Children's Museum Board is a very proud item for me. Each time I visit the museum or hear about the progress and up to date happenings, I am so pleased to have a small part of this great museum. It has been a great asset to the community for children and their families. What a prize possession for the Village of Oak Lawn!

The Children's Museum in Oak Lawn is filled with many exciting exhibits that promote exploratory play. Children have fun while learning cause and effect relationships.

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

the complimentary words of a father from Orland Park. His children had two games on a Saturday in Oak Lawn. Between games they decided to check out the Museum. They had a great time. The Museum is attracting more families from other municipalities.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

hire more staff, purchase more exhibits, schedule more birthday parties, and become the preferred place to play for even more children.

The Children's Museum in Oak Lawn is a great place for a family to spend quality time together, and it's rather inexpensive. Whether it's roleplaying in the theater or learning how to drill a hole in a board in the workshop, kids have so much fun they don't even realize they're learning!

watching kid's eyes light up when they come in the door.

very caring and yet professinal.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

concentrate on growing the best museum rather than being tied down to "how much does that cost?"

My children absolutely love coming to the museum. My 7-year old daughter can't get enough of the vet area and my 14-year-old son enjoys the "Race is On" area (which teaches concepts of physics, such as momentum, motion and friction.)
