Our mission is to create quality child care and preschool opportunities leading to success for the children and families of San Mateo County. Our vision: San Mateo's leading community resource for children and families, today and tomorrow.
4Cs has a strong history of success in our program outcomes. In the previous year, 4Cs provided the following: Over 9,000 referrals to parents and guardians seeking child care and other resources for their children; Child care subsidy assistance for close to 1,000 low income, working families; Over 120 hours of training and 2,000 hours of coaching and support for our county’s 1,000 licensed child care providers; Participation in 180 community events and collaborations to improve the quality, affordability and accessibility of child care in San Mateo County; Counseling for over 1,000 families on subsidized and low-cost child care options.
