The Child Care Center that has been educating children for the past 68 years in Evanston.
Throughout the years, our Center has gone through two location changes and some program expansions to become one of the most highly regarded early childhood education centers on the north shore for children age six weeks to five years.
We offer small, nurturing care for our youngest learners in our nine Family Child Care Connection Provider's home and a NAEYC accredited preschool program, for children two through five at the Center located at Emerson and Asbury.

CCCE is a wonderful place to foster a love of learning, ability to discover and explore the work around you and to experience the wonder of play. Grateful for the Montessori option. The staff are compassionate with all the children and understanding of the wide variety of needs the children come to them with. No doubt a phenomenal place to begin our child's love of learning and a great place to be introduced to the diversity of humanity!

The Child Care Center of Evanston has a history of serving the underserved in Evanston as part if their mission statement by offering high quality child care for working parents in an enrching environment. They were pioneers in formalizing home day care centers to function at the highest level of professionalism comparable to the formal child care centers. As a result they were key in developing a formal network of child care centers and home day care programs in Evanston. And today that network served over seven other suburban communties on the North Shore and Northwest.
