I am so impressed by Changing Worlds. It is a professionally managed non-profit with a very dedicated set of volunteers, staff & board members. Their work really makes a difference in the schools and communities they operate

I have worked with Changing Worlds for two years and I am impressed with the organization's ambition to grow, its commitment to students, and its appreciation of the arts in schools and in the community. As a teaching artist, I feel supported by my colleagues and by the leaders in the organization.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

working with fellow literacy specialists and teaching artists. Changing Worlds hires experienced staff; it's exciting to be a part of the collaboration and idea sharing at meetings.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

reach out to more schools in Chicago to develop ongoing residencies. Time is always a factor for the organization. If CW had more money, they could create all-year programs in partnership with CPS, as opposed to 10 week residencies.

I have had the pleasure of working with the staff and management at Changing Worlds since 2006. It is by far one of the more exemplary mid-sized non-profits that I have seen in my many years as a consultant and manager. Changing Worlds has a winning oombination of progressive, very talented and committed staff and Board members that believe in its mission to connect cultures through the arts.
