CERES is an incredibly valuable resource for companies focused on building a more sustainable world through the power of business. From their Roadmap for Sustainability to their incredibly important work organizing consumer facing brands in support of national climate legislation, CERES work is unique, innovative, and effective.

No other non-profit in the sustainability sector has done more to bring awareness to both the investor and corporate community than Ceres. This non-profit think-tank developed the global framework for corporate social responsibility reporting, organizes a full spectrum of institutional investor action on climate change, and consistently produces game-changing reports such as their recent "21st Century Corporation: The Ceres Roadmap for Sustainability." They are the most influential organization that the general public has never heard of, and are clearly deserving of this award.

Ceres provides quality research and actionable insight into the world of climate change risk assessment and management and the green economy in general. They produce this information through a variety of outlets such as blogs, pdfs and podcasts which are always worth the time to digest. I recommend Ceres to many of my colleagues and think they are one of the best web sites and organizations in eco-sphere!
