I began volunteering about 10 years ago, help socialize cats and kittens, take cats to an adoption days event once a month, and have adopted a dog from the shelter as well. The CTSPCA is very well run, has a dedicated core staff and many volunteers. They always do their best to find the right home for every animal, and any animal stays as long as it takes to accomplish that goal. My dog, Molly, was sick when she came to the shelter as an owner surrender. The shelter got her healthy and I was lucky enough to be chosen as her adopter. She's my walking buddy and watch dog. I love being a volunteer there.

Central Texas SPCA is a no-kill shelter that provides a homelike environment for its guests until their adoption. As a donor, I love this shelter because they are so judicious and efficient in the use of funds.
