CTFR is a tireless organization helping the Central Texas Cat population live healthier and safer lives. By trapping, spaying/neutering, and returning the cats to their environment, CTFR is helping to control the population and preventing cat colonies from running rampant in communities. The volunteers work with total dedication on limited means, but they always make good things happen.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

the shrinking cat colonies (due to their spay/neuter efforts).

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

The community they have created around their common goals.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

Completely dedicated to helping cats and very giving of their time and efforts.

I've known the founder of Central Texas Feline Rescue for several years now. I am repeatedly impressed by the experiences with it she relates to me, which show her heartfelt dedication to the purpose of this group. She and the volulnteers are committed to working endless hours, going wherever needed, giving of personal funds and home space to meet the needs of feral cats and educate the community regarding them. Each cat is treated humanely and given the best care possible regardless of its health and injuries. Even a blind cat recovering from other issues was treated and adopted. CTFR has high standards and is careful to place cats only in healthy, caring homes. In adition, this organization is one of the best when it comes to accounting for and stretching donations. Fund-raisers are top-notch and an another example of the overall quality and dedication of the folks at CTFR. Wish I had more money to support their work.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

Seeing treatment and care of the cats firsthand. Because of that,I've donated whenever possible. The best part is hearing the success stories...cats with second chances, new homes, or neutered to curtail the number of cats roaming homeless and unwanted.
