This organization, in my opinion is quick to find and act on issues that may escape the general public's attention. I appreciate being made aware and given the opportunity to help with their causes.

What an incredible organization.Without your dedication and the supporters who back you where would we be-doomed i suspect. While i live on the other side of the world and the majority of your work is dedicated to the USA and immediate surrounds i know and believe strongly that what ever you achieve over there is for the betterment of the world as a whole, such is the delicate balance of nature.

This is the organization that gets things done, they aren't all about propaganda like green-peace, nor do they squander away your donations by paying big bucks to the executives. The Center gets to the bottom of important issues, and they are the organization which investigates and takes legal actions against those government offices who are supposed to take of the environment, while informing its constituents. Please help protect our precious earth and vote on the Center for Biological Diversity!!!!

The Center for Biological Diversity is perhaps one of the most important nonprofits known to man, simply because it puts mankind in its place in the broader world of the creatures around us and the environment that we live in. What could be more important than learning about and striving to help maintain the balance of nature-- this is imperative to our own survival. I know from personal discussions with one of the staff that the Center is incredibly dedicated to this mission.

The Center for Biological Diversity is a needed watchdog for endangered species and environmental law. The lawsuits they bring in this effort are won 90% of the time, attesting to the amazing effectiveness of this organization, it's hardworking and dedicated staff, and the many volunteers involved in this fight. Government entities are led to consider policies more carefully due to CBD oversight and forced to change unacceptable practices because of the work of the Center. The research and preparation that goes into these efforts is amazing. It's done on a very tight budget, but is possible because of the strong commitment and dedication to this worthy cause that everybody involved with the Center's work has.

Whether it's litigating on behalf of endangered species such as the polar bear or just raising awareness about things such as the botched capture of the last american jaguar, the Center leads the charge to protect all aspects, big and small, of the environment.

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

protecting big species such as lynx, polar bears, jaguars, belugas, condors, and wolves as well as small niche species such as salamanders, turtles, bats, and snails. These little guys for the foundation of ecosystems and need our help too!

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

enthusiastic, skilled, and motivated.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

save more species! There are thousands of lesser known but no less important species that could be saved with an extra 10 million bucks.

The Center for Biological Diversity is a lean, mean, green machine. There's not another group out there that even comes close to the Center's dedication, integrity, and success rate when it comes to protecting endangered species and their habitat, and they do it with a budget that's a fraction of what most other environmental heavyweights have to work with.

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

legislation protecting endangered species worldwide

Unfortunately it's sad that we, the public, have to sue our own government to support conservation and climate change initiatives. However, CBDC is fighting the good fight for us. Their presence has helped rally members around the world and the online petitions make you feel empowered and able to have a voice in these dire conservation times.

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

its newsletter and the survival of the species/land that they've petitioned for
