I learned of BeatCancer.org through my Juice Plus association, and met Dr Silverstein in person at a conference. At that time I had just learned I had a 'lump' in my breast, and was gathering information. I was so excited and impressed with her knowledge and energy, I contacted BeatCancer a few weeks later and was assigned to Dr Randy as my 'coach'. Just having someone to bounce my feelings and ideas off of was priceless, as most people do not understand or are equiped to help with the anxiety, complexity of information, and emotions. She was a wealth of knowledge, and will meet you where you are in the journey, non-judgemental, and was especially helpfull since I decided to not utilize 'traditional' medicine, but alternatives. I continue to recommend Beatcancer.org to anyone touched by cancer, and I am happy to say I am alive and well, continuing my journey of health and wellness, and staying out of the sick care system! Thank you Dr Silverstein, Dr Randy, and all the volunteers at Beat Cancer for your selfless, much needed support! Dee Yezbak

I appreciate the willingness Susan S demonstrates in sharing the information she continues to gather. Cancer is such a challenge for so many and we need people like Susan who can bring perspective and hope. I don't know if we will ever defeat cancer, but with people like Susan speaking out, there is growing hope that those who will listen have a reduced risk and a better chance of coming through treatment with positive results.

Really love the service CASE provides the community! Health education is so strongly needed in our society. I love the Hungry for Health bars & cookbooks. Susan Silberstein is practical & direct with her information. She is passionate, caring & very generous with those she cares for!

My sister was very much against anything I could tell her about the benefits of nutrition for her husband until I send her the booklet "Vegetable Juices & Cancer Treatment". She was so negative that I had to call her and read excepts from the booklet. Now she's giving taking Juice Plus to her husband and exploring alternative avenues of treatment. This would never have happened without CACE.

Hi My name is Cari Waldron, i am 47 and the mother of 10. In Jan of 2011, while pregnant with my 10th child, I was diagnosised with breast cancer. Having recently lost my father to leukemia who choose to do chemo, i knew this was not immediant option for me, and after seeing a breast specialist whose only option for me was a complete mastectomy with little regard to the affects that the surgery or drugs would do to my un-born baby, so i/ my husband decide pray and ask everyone we know to pray and to prepare my body for a battle 1st by changing my diet and adding nutrition. But even this would not be as easy as 1 would think, because i had to consider the health and well being of my un-born child. This was not something that conventional doctors could advise me in and certainly not something they were happy with. Knowing that food would be a good place to begin, both in elimating and adding, that is where we began. I heard about Juice Plus+ (nutrient dense whole food nutrition in capsule form)and immedientIy started taking it as well as representing it. it was through my Juice Plus business that i heard about C.A.C.E.. I was put in council with Dr. Randy Shane, who genuinely cared about me and the baby and our entire family and what we were going through, she was very informative, & was able to confirm all that i was doing as helpful and even had further suggestions always taking into consideration the well-being of the baby. Dr. Shane also highly suggested that I would nurse, that the hormone released during nursing possibly could affect the cancer in a positive way. So we nursed!!! (couldn't have done that if it had been removed!) I also had the pleasure of meeting the founder of C.A.C.E. Susan Silberstein, it was quite obvious her passion about helping those or family members of those who are battling cancer.
Our family has been blessed by this organization and are excited to report that God has used some or all of what we did to remove my tumor!!!!

My Father has been battling Stage IV lung cancer and when he dropped significant weight we sought help. The Center for Advancement in Cancer Education has given my Dad new hope and empowered him. Thanks to people, like Randi Shayne, who share their knowledge, people like my Dad are feeling better. My Dad, Mom and I have been on numerous conference calls where Randi teaches us how to eat better and get the best nutrition to help my Dad fight and feel better. We have learned about exercise, eating, breathing, staying mentally and physically engaged and even spiritually strong. Randi has schooled us on things we never knew about before, like the benefits of juicing. Most importantly, she gives hope to my Dad and we can all see how the Center has given him a better quality of life.

While recovering from a lobectomy for lung cancer, a friend who was totally recovered from her breast cancer, said to give Beat Cancer a call. "It changed my life" I called and it did the same for me. Dr Shayne heard my medical history and then started teaching me about nutrition and life habits. I hadn't thought of myself as a particularly bad eater. Just someone with a few indulgences. Dr Shayne taught me a whole ew way to think about eating. At first we spoke every week. After I understood the program, it became every month. I'm now two-and-a half years post surgery. I remain cancer free. In addition, I have come off of one of two hypertension medications completely. My readings are better than normal. My statin for cholesterol is now at 1/2 dosage. My panel is great. And all of this information and nurselings was free. I made a donation each year, but no one asked about it. They just gave me knowledge, compassion and support.

every facet of my life. I have completely rethought my diet and they even encourage "cheating" so that I almost never feel deprived. When I do, it's usually for other reasons and food thoughts are just old habitual behavior.

I admire the goals of this organization to provide caring holistic information to help prevent cancer and to assist those diagnosed with cancer to learn ane nutrition and other approaches which may improve their health and quality of life. This charity is unique in providing access to information, referrals, counseling and other resources. The director is a knowledgeable, caring person who has helped many hundreds of people. As a psychologist and nutriritionist, I can tell you that her information on CDs and in books is terrific. You can also schedule time to speak with someone on staff personally. You may want to become a member to benefit yourself and support this worthwhile work. The information is useful to anyone who values their health and wants to improve their immune system.....and their inner balance between mind, body and spirit. We are fortunate to have the Center for Advancement in Cancer Education in our area however if you are farther away, you can reach the Center by phone or internet. I RECOMMMEND IT HIGHLY.

Susan and CACE were invaluable after my breast cancer diagnosis. They were supportive and knowledgeable, and, changed my outlook on the disease. They suggested dietary and lifestyle changes, whereas my physician only could think of chemotherapy. Ten years later I am still grateful for CACE and the choices I made.
