CELL PHONES FOR LIFE INC Reviews
Cell Phones For Life donates free emergency use cell phones to the elderly, the disabled and domestic violence victims and family shelters all over the U.S. These phones provide security and a sense of freedom. For the elderly they help these citizens and their families knowing they can leave their house and still be able to call for help if needed. For the domestic violence victims these phones are a lifeline when in a dangerous situation confronted by their abuser. The cell phone can be hidden because the first thing an abuser will do is break or disconnect their active phone. This organization makes people aware of how this simple little object provides more security than most people realize. I am proud to be a part of this organization and touched by the gratitude of people and their families who have received one of these phones.
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
In reading the emails and letters received by people who have been donated a phone. Over and over again their gratitude is expressed and the comfort of knowing they can travel and not get stuck without being able to call for help.
Ways to make it better...
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Hire a grant writer to get this organization some much needed financial help so they can help more people all over the U.S. The financial help would also be used to create public awareness to donate their old cell phone. To help businesses all over the U.S. start cell phone drives.
