Volunteering is good for the soul... we often benefit as much or more than the clients. Elijah's Place creates space for people to come together and share with others who feel their same hurt. Hospitality Center is doing God's work: feeding the hungry.

I served as a Board member for this organization and have also been a volunteer. The outreach is incredible in our community. Further, Catholic Charities initiated a prgram called Elijah's Place which helps children deal with grief. An incredible gift to the community.

Catholic Charities is a wonderful organization. The respectful friendly way the clients are treated is remarkable. They provide the many services needed in the community for the less fortunate. The client will always find a helping hand and a dedicated worker to get them through the tough times. The organization is tireless in making sure the needy are taken care of.

I have been a volunteer at the Hospitality Center for the past 3 years. I have had the pleasure of meeting wonderful volunteers, along with the director, Christina. The Center serves a delicious, hot meal 365 days a year and I have seen first-hand how the clients are treated with dignity and respect.

I have enjoyed volunteering at the Hospitality Center for 22 years, 6 days per week. I have always enjoyed helping people and I also have fun interacting with the volunteers and have many friends doing so. The best part of volunteering at the Center is knowing that the clients will have at least one hot meal a day and I know they are not hungry for a while. The Center also gives out clothes once a week and I enjoy watching the clients faces when they receive a bag of clothes. I look forward to helping out and being a part of a mission that strongly believes in what they are doing. The slogan for Catholic Charities is Providing Help and Creating Hope and they are doing just that. Keep up the good work of feeding the hungry.

I have been blessed to have been a volunteer cook at the Catholic charities Hospitality Center for the past 11 years. I keep going back because I feel the love that is brought by other volunteers that come to help the homeless and those less fortunate. Even though those that walk through the door may be addicted to drugs, prostitutes or just on a streak of bad luck, they come to relax in an environment that gives them hope.

I have been a client of the Hospitality Center for 20+ years and have always been treated with dignity and respect by the director and numerous volunteers. The food is good too. I now volunteer my time at the Center to give back to the wonderful people who helped me in my time of need.

As the Director of the Hospitality Center for the past 5 years; I have grown spiritually and emotionally. I have such respect for the Center whose mission is to feed the hungry with diginity and respect. The most important thing I have gained is a second family, the guest's who are here daily and the hand full of volunteers who have dedicated thier free time for the past 22 years makes this a very rewarding place to be.
