CASA has tremendous immpact on the lives of countless individuals or all levels throughout the valley: Providing information to individuals and families for greater emotional growth and happiness. I attended a session specifically geared towards educating parents of teens on communicating about sensitive issues. The presenters were well versed and the panel so willing to open up and share to the benefit of those attending. Impactful.

CASA is a much needed and fabulous program touching many people's lives. It's reach is wide but could use much needed funds to increase their visibility in Arizona. The director is very visible and works tirelessly to make sure that the program reaches the vulnerable part of AZ communities.

Casa has facilitated programs at our school in K-4 ( Kid's Talk- No More Secrets), helped facilitate our 7th grade trip to Prescott and conducted a 4 part presentation to 8th graders on healthy relationships. Their programs are excellent!

CASA comes into the schools in our precinct and provides education and prevention information to the children. They are prepared to handle situations where children come forward about abuse they are experiencing or have experienced. CASA works with PD to ensure the matters are handled appropriately. They provide a much needed program for children.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Make a huge dent in lessening the number of sexual assaults/abuse/etc that our young population experiences as well as help bring to justice those that are currently experiencing abuse.

I have had the priviledge of working with Casa as both a Prevention Specialist and as an Independent Contractor on and off for 10 years. The work Casa does is commendable. Thousands of children have learned how to recognize and report child sexual abuse. Many others have learned how to recognize the many forms of bullying that happen everyday, and how to get the help they need if they are victims of bullying. Perhaps the most important aspect of what Casa does these days is its focus on Social and Emotional Learning. Stephanie Orr recognized early on how important the concepts of SEL are and has worked tirelessly to help schools and community groups learn why SEL is so important, and how it can become a regular part of what they do.

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Ensure they had a steady stream of funding which would allow them to serve more community members and to find and keep top quality staff.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

the opportunity to work with the dedicated Casa staff and to interact with a wide range of clients including children, parents, and schools.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

Dedicated, professional, and always trying to go the extra mile.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

become a major force in bringing prevention based, and social and emotional learning programs to schools and community groups.

Ways to make it better...

It couldn't have been better - some of my best work experiences happened at Casa.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

The same challenge faced by most non-profits - the constant struggle to secure funding.

One thing I'd also say is that...

If I had a million dollars I'd trust it to Casa to use for the good of children, family, and community groups.

Casa is an incredible organization that has had a profound impact on the lives of hundreds of our students. As a school counselor in a K -8 Catholic school, it is my responsiblity to provide training to all of our students in the area of child abuse prevention. For the past seven years we have chosen to utilize Casa's Kids Talk program to provide this education to our students. The presentations are presented in an age appropriate and sensitive manner while teaching students appropriate boundaries and assertiveness skills. Every member of the Casa staff has been a joy to work with. They seem to go above and beyond in all that they do. I am very appreciative of this organization and for all that they do to make a positive difference in the lives of both children and adults.

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

my work with students. The students retain the information and skills taught to them in the Kids Talk program. Although it is not measurable, I strongly believe that this educational program has procted students from becoming a victim of abuse.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
