I believe our shelter makes a huge difference in our community. Not only do we care for the cats at the shelter, we help keep animals in their homes by providing assistance to owners during transitional periods in their lives. Our subsidized spay and neuter program helps control unwanted animals all around the Outer Cape. Of course, it’s the volunteers that make a shelter work. Daily cleaning, socializing cats and kittens, and spending quality time with all of the residents are only part of what our volunteers accomplish. Strong community ties are established and our supporters are loyal. CASAS can and does change lives for the better.

I love being a part of CASAS. It's a cage free, no-kill shelter where the cats enjoy spacious, sun-filled rooms. They even have access to an outdoor enclosure for fresh air and bird watching. The kittens are well socialized and are used to spending time with other cats so fitting into a new home is easy for them. CASAS helps control unwanted kittens and puppies with their subsidized spay/neuter and trap/neuter/return programs. They are a proven asset to the comminuty by helping to fund a pet food bank and assisting with medical expenses. I am proud to endorse Carrie A. Seaman Animal Shelter and hope to bring this organization the positive exposure they deserve.
