CASAS primary goal is to operate as a facility on Lower Cape Cod for the holding, feeding, medical treatment, and eventual placement of homeless domestic animals. The facility will operate as a no-kill shelter, and act as a safe haven until loving adoptive homes can be found. Also, all volunteer organization is working to prevent domestic animal overpopulation and neglect by encouraging and assisting individuals to spay/neuter their animals. Goal is accomplished by public education and provision of vouchers which pay half the cost of needed veterinary services.

People for Cats was looking for another shelter on the cape to partner with and after a wonderful tour/visit with CASAS we knew we found the right place. Their dedication and love for all the kitties they get in is above and beyond. Like other shelters it's the volunteers who make things run smoothly. Given the extra time and love to each cat is just how it works here. I, as a board member and volunteer for PFC am proud to be associated with CASAS....keep up the good work.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

They have helped us to find homes for kitties from the Falmouth area

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

more money to help with the cost of running a rescue shelter
