The Captain Scott Corwin Foundation is GREAT Foundation that honors selfless service.

I am currently on the Board of Directors and know first hand how the Foundation operates to honor the life and legacy of Captain Scott Corwin. We remain devoted to his brothers in arms, and strive to help
members of the military and their families.

During the Operation Iraqi Freedom 07-09 deployment of 4th Squadron, the CPT Scott Corwin Foundation had enormous impact on the morale of the soldiers and families within 4th Squadron and the 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment. The Foundation hosted a Final Four Tailgate party in San Antonio for all of the Regiment's wounded soldiers and their families. They implemented a program where various elementary schools adopted one of the Troops within the Squadron and wrote letters to the soldiers while deployed. They also worked with various colleges to donate jerseys with the number 4 to the Squadron while they were in Iraq.

Greg Corwin kept in continuos contact with the unit throughout the deployment and the Foundation's support of the unit was a vital element in maintaining morale and supporting the soldiers and families of 4th Squadron, 3d ACR. Thank you.

The Captain Scott Corwin Foundation did an outstanding job sponsoring 4th Squadron, 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment during its rotation to Iraq during OIF 07-09. The Foundation assisted the unit in fundraising for welcoming our troopers home from a 15-month deployment to Iraq, by contacting various NFL and college football teams and asking them to donate a team jersey with the number 4 on it. The jerseys were then raffled off within the unit with great success. Enough money was raised that we were able to charge a ticket price of $5 per person to attend the ball. A 15-month deployment takes an enormous toll on the morale of both the troopers that are deployed and the family members back home. By dedicating its time and efforts to help raise fund to defray the ticket price of the welcome home ball, the Captain Scott Corwin Foundation helped the troopers and family members of 4th Squadron, 3rd ACR enjoy a wonderful ball and a night they will never forget!

The Captain Scott Corwin Foundation is a truly remarkable organization. Scott’s family has worked tirelessly to grow the foundation into what it is today. I have had both the honor and pleasure of serving on the Board of Directors from day one. I volunteer my time for this foundation and I always will. Scott was one of my dearest friends and this foundation embodies the greatness that Scott possessed. He would give you the last dollar in his wallet, his only bottle of water or even the shirt off his back. If you didn’t have the opportunity to meet Scott, please get acquainted with his foundation and we will welcome you with open arms, just like he would.
One of the events that we hold is a pregame tailgate party before an Army football game. There is no better feeling than to serve a wounded veteran, ask them about their story, shake their hand, hug and thank them for their service to this great nation. It will warm not only your heart, but your spirit as well. These brave men, women and their families are a true inspiration.
We have accomplished many of the goals that we set forth and we look forward to achieving more. Please consider lending your time, talents or money to this foundation as we can’t grow without your support. Thank you!

I first found out about this foundation about 3 years ago and love the things that they do for our military heroes. It's an honor to donate money to such a worthy cause.

We have been supporters and contributors to the Corwin Foundation since it began. Captain Scott Corwin was an outstanding officer, and leader whose life was tragically cut short. The foundation bearing his name is a tribute to Scott and his family. We have been privileged to work two of the functions arranged by the Scott Corwin Foundation. In San Antonio, the Army-Texas A&M football game and "Tail Gate" for the wounded from Brooks Army Hospital, and the Army-VMI football game and "Tail Gate" at West Point, for the wounded from Walter Reed Army Hospital. These were special events for both the warriors and for us. Rest assured that your contributions will go directly to inspire high school students and to demonstrate our appreciation of our country's warriors. The Foundation's administration costs are low, because Captain Corwin's family and friends (many West Point classmates) are the leaders and the board members. The money goes to the cause!

The Foundation directs more than just funds to aid injured soldiers and their family's needs. My husband is an elementary school teacher and encouraged the children to prepare Christmas cards that the Captain Scott Corwin Foundation personally delivered to the burn victims at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. The children were so enthused and wrote such honest and moving comments that touched the hearts of both the soldiers and their families. What this Foundation does is truly an inspiration to us all.

This is a fantastic organization made up of the most caring and high quality individuals I have ever met. I was lucky enough to volunteer with the Foundation for an event at Brooks Army Medical Center and I was blown away by the compassion, empathy and sincere care they showed towards everyone involved. I have nothing but the utmost respect for these people and the selfless acts they accomplish. They are helping people for all of the right reasons and need our support.

The Captain Scott Corwin Foundation represents the best attributes of the man for which it is named. The Foundation's efforts to award high school students who embody leadership and community awareness have created a legacy of scholarship winners who continue to lead within their respective communities. Furthermore, the work of the Foundation to support our wounded veterans is truly unparalleled for an organization of this size.
The Foundation supports great events such as tailgate parties at Army football games and sending packages to units overseas. As a recipient of their support, my unit received many different packages from the Foundation while we were deployed to Iraq. These helped sustain the unit morale throughout a 15 month deployment. One specific effort included collaboration with NCAA football teams to send jerseys and sports gear over to our deployed Soldiers. This culminated in an auction event at our deployed location. This effort came at a crucial time in our deployment, and many of my Soldiers recalled this event as one of the highlights of the deployment.
Consistently the Foundation has a high operations to administration cost ratio, ensuring donated funds are used predominately for the causes the Foundation supports. This is a great organization which focuses its efforts based upon its strengths to ensure donations are maximized.

The CPT Scott Corwin Foundatio not only contributes tramendously to other service members. They have grown to be more like family since the day I met them on a trip to the Army vs Navy game in 2008. They continue to keep in touch and make a difference in the lives of those they come into contact with.
