Thank you to Fran and her team at Cancer Schmancer Foundation, for making some noise and progress in the fight for early detection of cancer! I fight for my mom, as she is no longer here to fight for herself. 2 years of misdiagnosis can not be tollerated; there are simple and effective tests, a CA 125 or abdominal ultrasound, that would have caught my hero's ovarian cancer BEFORE it spread. Instead Mom was sent away time and time again because her "pain" was not great enough. Many ovarian, cervical, uterine cancers cause discomfort/bloating..not pain! Make noise, be heard, don't take no as an answer, Know your body and speak your mind!!

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Offer/work with med schools/nursing programs to educate medical professionals to early diagnostic tools associated with "female" cancers.

We loved highlighting Cancer Schmancer as a Charity of the Month. Working with Jessica and Fran to help raise money for such a great organization was an honor. What they're doing is wonderful and so encouraging. To arm us with information and help women become educated on what the warning signs of cancer are -- it's such a needed service. So selfless of Fran to take her experience to help others. We love you!! Our company, One Meaning Couture, sells jewelry and apparel that bears a unique symbol of love and we give over 10% of all sales to a different charity each month. 813 means "I love you"...8 letters, 3 words, 1 meaning. The 1 is always in the middle because love is the center of everything.

Fran Drescher inspired me to become a supporter of Cancer Schmancer because I can relate to what she had gone through as a cancer survivor. I have friends who are now gone -- they were diagnosed with advanced stages of cancer and looking back, if only we knew then what we know now through Fran (Stage 1 is the cure) we could have saved some lives. I also have a dear friend who is a cancer survivor like Fran and she is just fortunate to have been proactive (like Fran) with her cancer that she was able to overcome it . Fran Drescher had "turned her pain into purpose" thus inspiring many people, regardless of nationality and skin color, young and old alike.

reach out to more people. I know the organization had started having the Fran Vans in major cities like New York and Los Angeles but I would like to see the Fran Vans in other cities too. But I know the organization is getting there.

I have lost some amazing women to this hideous disease and know several who are fighting as I write this! Not only is Fran strong and beautiful she's also a wonderful caring and giving woman to share and support others with few resources in this cause. Please join Fran's posse and help her continuing crusade for women's health!

Cancer Shmancer is a terrific organization that is making us all aware,not just women, but all of us about the deadly disease of cancer. Fran Drescher is an amazing tireless worker, whose passion about her causes makes me want to help and make a difference. I have lost friends too soon and family members from this deadly disease. This is the way I can help and I hope that we will all join to make cancer a bad memory of the past....Thanks Fran for not sitting on the sideline....you are awesome!

I hope that this grows to all parts of the nation and we see mobile cancer screening centers here in the great city of St. Louis.

Cancer Schmancer does a lot of great work to build community and encourage early detection through education and teaching people (especially women) to be proactive and advocate for their bodies and themselves.

I so support Fran with all she does and all she has been through. She has brought awareness to people who still do now know. We need to kill this disease like it kills our friends and families. We should all continue to do everything we can to help.

I donated to this organization, because this is a cause very important to me as a woman. Also, after having family members and friends who have experienced this disease. This is a cause I can get behind-this org does so many great things to help educate and advocate about the effects of women's cancer & early detection!! Cancer Schmancer Movement is wonderful, It's for all cancers, and Fran Drescher is a wonderful woman who has experienced cancer herself. Cancer Schmancer isn't working on finding a cure, but working on how to prevent cancer, all kinds of cancer. The Cancer Schmancer Movement is dedicated to saving women's lives through early detection of cancer. It's not like other movements that are working on finding a cure. Most people don't know about Cancer Schmancer, I'd like for it to be as big as "Susan G. Komen"
