Reviews for California Releaf

Rating: 4 stars

As a marketing/communications advisor to California ReLeaf over the last several years, I have found them to articulate a clear mission and objectives, and to deliver on the mission with strategic thinking and actions. From advocating for urban trees at the state level, to serving members through grants and technical assistance, staff have also taken new leadership roles to facilitate the development of cohesive statewide messaging on the drought and caring for trees. The trees and urban forests are lucky to have this organization!

I am new to the Housing Sector and knew very little about Urban Forestry coming into this field. On my first day and every week since, I have had the opportunity to work with Chuck Mills vial our multi-sector Sustainable Communities for All coalition. He has taught me so much about the critical work California ReLeaf does, how these issues connect to everything else, and how to effectively advocate for urban forestry as part of the package for building healthy, sustainable communities. California ReLeaf is a valuable, reliable partner who effectively advocates for the policy and resources necessary to advance urban forestry and so much more in California.
