I myself have served time in a California Prison. In fact I had my one and only child while I was incarcerated. I was at V.S.P.W. at the time and what a way to give birth to a child and then return to the prison to do more time. My Daughter was 6 mo. old when I got out. She is now 13 years old and as for me after incarceration I have finally pulled myself up and I have now started an organization called Progress in Motion so that I too can support men and women coming out of prison. There is nothing worse than being handed 200.00 gate money and being told by a CO that they will see you soon. That is not on a positive note if you know what I mean. People coming back to their prison is job security for those ......

No. I am just commenting on what I believe is a real mission and a very needed mission. That is why I am doing basically the same thing in the San Fernando Valley.

I can't say that I would make any changes. You seem to be addressing all the major factors that I can see. Keep up the good work.
