In 2004 I was approached to host a little boy from Haiti while he was here in the US for medical treatment for 6 weeks. When he came for eye surgery it became apparant that his eye would have to be removed and a prosthesis placed. He had a myraid of other medical conditions and the orphanage he came from asked he not be returned to Haiti because he could not get treatment there or maintain his prosthesis. He had become part of our little family and I could not bear to return him somewhere that would ostracize him. Since I had not been planning to adopt I had no funding to make this happen. We held bake sales, community read alouds, Haitian awareness events, carnivals, news stories, and more to help raise what money was needed. Someone at my home study agency recommended Brittanys Hope to me and I applied for a grant. I got $5000! Wow what an amazing gift to both of us. After many tears we gratefully accepted their offer and used to money to continue legalizing and secure his future here in the United States. He is now 12 years old and a 6th grader at our local junior high. He enjoys martial arts, music, friends, and school. He is thriving and thanks to Brittanys Hope he has a great future ahead of him! We are ever so grateful to them and hope someday to be able to pay this gift forward. thank you.

100% of your donation is directly given to children who need it. Within the various programs at Brittany's Hope, all the donations, love and support are given to children who have not met their forever families and that need help from loving people across the world. I feel fortunate to work with an organization who is dedicated to meeting the needs of special needs children.

We were able to raise $2500 with Brittany's Hope's help and they then matched it so that we got $5000 to help us adopt a child from Ethiopia.
I am a teacher and my wife is a stay at home mom. We wanted to help with the huge orphan problem in this world, but did not have enough money. With the help of Brittany's Hope we were able to make a difference for an 8 year old boy who had almost given up hope of a forever home after 3 years in an orphanage. Thanks again Brittany's Hope.

Brittany's Hope allowed us to bring home one more orphan from China. She now has a Forever Family! To not have to worry about part of the finances is awesome. The grant we received was able to take of the the orphanage donation. They are an awesome Foundation to have worked with.

Brittanys Hope allows you to make a difference in the life of an orphan, Special needs orphans around the world. There are multiple options you can choose from, all donations are used 100% toward making the lives of these children better and or to help find them a family to love. I have chosen sponsorship of a little girl who has had more tradgedy in her life than most of us are blessed enough to never endure, yet she is a bright, courteous and giving child. She lives in Mom House now with other children like herself. Moms house is sponsored by Brittanys Hope and aids in the care of these children both physically and spiritually. I recieve letters from her and we are able to send her gifts in addtion to our sponsorship - our choice. It gives us great joy to be able to help one of these special children. I encourage anyone reading this to visit Brittanys Hope web site to learn of the many ways this awesome organization is changing the life of orphans, one child at a time.

Brittany's Hope is a wonderful non-profit organization. As someone involved in allocations for non-profits, I have quite a bit of experience understanding where money goes and how funds are allocated. Brittany's Hope has a long standing and fiscally responsible history that is just commendable. They are interested in applying money to their goals primarily and work diligently to enure that if something is not cost effective, that it be altered for improvement.
Aside from that understanding, our family is a recipient of a child specific grant of $7,500 that went directly to the adoption costs of our acute special needs son from China. Without these monies, we wouldn't not have been in a position to bring home our son and he would most likely have died. Being able to be an active part in the sponsorship program was just amazing.
We also have a candid view of fund and supply raising, getting involved in multiple programs with Brittany's Hope to support their efforts worldwide in the preservation of children. The Sunflower Project is one of our favorites- supplying children aging out of the orphan system with 'life-supply' bags to help them succeed in the adult world. Other programs are just as meaningful and amazing.
This is one of my favorite non-profit organizations. It is quality through and through.

Brittanys Hope helped our family bring two children home from China by granting them each 5,000.00 This was invaluable and helped us feel we could proceed with committing to our kids. Without BH we may not have been able to begin our adoptions due to finances.

I used to live in Elizabethtown,Pa and I knew Brittany Abel personally .She was a pleasant young woman well loved by her adoptive family. When she was killed tragically in a car accident,her adoptive parents who missed her very much, founded Brittany's Hope , a non profit organization that helped the adoption of handicapped orphans from different countries. Now the organization has expanded to include various charities... I started to donate for the Walk of Love a couple years and recently my donation was for the nutrition of the orphans ...
My son also sent his money to BH and his company matched too.We all trust that BH will make good use of our donations ,having so many good people working for a good cause .A good ambassador of BH is Mai-Lynn Abel.Just to listen to her, we can feel she is passionate in what she is doing. If you want to donate to a charity, Brittany's Hope is the one !

Brittany's Hope is an organization of such integrity. They offer personal support and give all the money to the children and facility itself. It is not an abstract bureaucracy; when I called, I spoke to a daughter who had been adopted by the family who founded the organization. They do fantastic work with orphans whose outlooks are very bleak in Vietnam and cannot be legally adopted.

I have been involved in Brittany's Hope Foundation for over 7 years now. In beginning to volunteer with this tremendous foundation, working with the dedicated staff, board members, and children we serve I became extremely rooted and dedicated to the cause. I have served many roles over the years with the foundation- board member, etc. BHF has an extreme passion for adding the less fortunate and operates like no other organizations I know- 100% funding to the cause. My greatest joys of my time working with the organization have been working firsthand with the improvised children we serve in the country of Vietnam- it has changed my life forever.
