Community Reviews

Rating: 5 stars

I've been involved with Bridge Communities as a volunteer for almost 3 years now. This is a phenominal, well-run, organization that makes a real difference in the lives of the 'invisible' people in our own community. Having the opportunity to help support the work that Bridge does is such a blessing for me. I get to give back in a very local way, and know that it's effecting lives that I come across on a daily basis. Plus I get to work with many great people that I know as neighbors, friends, or from my church. I also interface with our local merchants for my fundraising efforts, and it's rewarding to pull people in to help out that I do business with. It makes it feel like a family/community effort. What a blessing Bridge is not only to the families it helps to support, but to those of us who help support Bridge's efforts.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

Reading about and listening to the personal testimonies of the families whose lives Bridge has touched. Teaching someone to fish and get on their own feet is such a powerful accomplishement - for those that did the standing, and for those who helped them stand.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Try to get them more money to spread their net further.
