According to their 11/12 IRS figures she made $1,848,593 (Roxanne Spillett President, CEO) which I think is ridiculous. I know people in the nonprofit like to justify high salary's by stating the salary is just a small percentage of the organizations revenue and in this case that is true. But I think most Americans think of it as "The Boys and Girls Club of America has to raise $1,848,593 just to pay one person's salary - money that could support their programs". Shame Ms. Spillett and the Board members who authorized it.

The program itself is great. In a time when parents need a place for children to go after school, the Boys and Girls Club meets that need in spades. I just wish they would be more financially responsible.
