Being in the education and library field for 16 years it was great to see the work that Books For Kids is doing in the many communities they work in. Restoring and upgrading libraries is their main goal and my company DEMCO is happy to work with them. The staff is extremely professional and dedicated to the growth of libraries and the way they affect children..They are a great organization.

Helping them set up new libraries in NYC and Tennessee...I've seen the way the children have responded to their efforts. A lot of positive emotion when they enter their new library.

We became involved with Books for Kids Foundation within the last year. They are constantly doing everything possible to change childrens' futures. The centers that they work with have a scarcity of books at their sites and none of them have a library. Books for Kids helps transform a small room into a magical place of learning.

We were at the ribbon cutting for one of their many centers in Harlem and saw firsthand how well these under-priviledged children responded to their new library.

It would be beneficial to spread the word to as many potential donors as possible. Promoting literacy to young children is the most important gift to their future success.
