I donate to this organization because they reach so many desperate women who are pregnant or have young children. They have helped several homeless women get off the street in the last few months and this Christmas they are going to make baskets of food and toys for the families that need the most help.

It's my pleasure to donate to this organization because I too work with families and children that need help, services and guidance. Birthline volunteers provide all of these and more. I will continue to donate items and spread the word.

Birthline of San Diego has been a SOLID pillar of the San Diego community run soley by volunteers for OVER 33 years. A group of compassionate and dedicated women provide not only daily provisions (diapers, food, formula, clothing/shoes) to the poorest of poor women and their children 0-5 years old. Birthline also advocates a better future for these families with a plethora of social services: counseling, education, medical, employment, housing and much, much more. Your financial donation/inkind donation helps over 2,000 women a year who would otherwise have no source of assistance because their families and or the baby daddy has abandoned them. We listen, guide and advocate for these women and the future unborn residents of San Diego. Heads down assisting the clients has been our focus; However, it's a new era of change, and communicating the word out to the community to tour and advocate for this gem is NOW. It's time that more individuals join the coalition already supported by many schools, government representatives, churches and women's organizations. Donate your apperal, money or your time, just get involved.
