This organization is wonderful and treats each person whether a client or volunteer with total respect and love. Birthchoice allows a woman to make an educated decision and lets her know that someone cares and will be there no matter what they decide. There is nothing better than seeing a young woman or couple get information and choose life. Lives are changed and saved at Birthchoice.

Follow up call: young couple that had seriously considered abortion a few months back decided to keep the child. They are now married with a delivery date late June. The woman had and very difficult background and her life has turned completely around.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

The professionalism of the staff and counseling of the women.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

The entire staff is well trained and focused on the mission.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Get a more visible location, or maybe several locations, add some paid staff so open hours would stay consistent. Advertize and offer regular classes on NFP and other women and family issues.

Birthchoice gave me the opportunity to share my love for others in a compasssionate situation. Having experienced an unplanned pregnancy, I have been able to encourage other women and offer them confidence. Many just need a a non-judgemental person to listen.

BirthChoice is such a welcoming place for women who are facing an unplanned pregnancy. All of the staff and volunteers genuinely want to help women. Not only do they strive to offer a listening ear, fact-based information, and resource referrals, but they truly offer unconditional respect and acceptance to each person. This agency is a gift in service to so many people.

Birthchoice truly helps pregnant (and sometimes non-pregnant) women of all ages, races, and religions. The caring, friendly, and dedicated staff of volunteers empower these women by providing valuable and truthful information about pregnancy, adoption, and abortion, and suggest local resources who can help financially, materially, and emotionally—including Medicaid, Catholic Parish Outreach, Gabriel Project, New Leaf Behavioral Health, Project Rachel, various housing and employment options, and many more. All of Birthchoice's services are free to clients, including pregnancy tests and ultrasounds (they even pay cab fare when a woman has no form of transportation to the clinic!). Men and families are welcome at appointments to support the women, and the facility is cozy and welcoming.

Clients are most appreciative of a volunteer's caring and listening ear. They are thankful for the resources Birthchoice provides, and that there's never "a catch." Women's hearts and minds open to what THEY ultimately want, not someone else's wishes.
