BGB HORSE SERVICE AND RESCUE INC
Rating: 5 stars 1 review
Location: 2079 W 4950 S Rexburg ID 83440 USA
Programs: BGB visits schools and has on site field trips for special needs children. Horses are taken to schools for students to have the chance to learn. They visit the facility and get the chance to interact with the horses and others. They can feed, brush, ride, water and rope. While there, they are guided and watched by BGB Staff and Teachers. They get oportunities that they might not have elsewhere, while learning about these beautiful animals.

I've taken the opportunity to both donate time and resources to BGB Horse Rescue. Over the years, I've contributed to many worth causes, and I can say I'm extremely satisfied with BGB.
Not only have they welcomed my help on their facility, I have watched as they have been very respectful of the donations that are received. Feeding and maintaining over 30 horses on any given day is both time consuming, and resource intensive. Each donation has been used directly for the horses benefit, and I've never seen any frivolous spending by the founders, or their helpers.
I can confidently say that I fully support BGB Horse Rescue's mission, and also there organizers and their use of funds and resources.
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
I've been on site, helping take care of the horses when people have called to express concern for abused horses, and I've watched as BGB stopped what they were doing, and went "to the rescue" to pick up the horse, and brought them back for proper care.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
If I could change anything about this organization, I would recommend increasing public awareness of what they do. They are undervalued, and not as widely recognized as they ought to be. With increased exposure, they would be better able to gather the donations needed to better their facility.
