I am a volunteer as well as a member of the General Advisory Board of Best Answer for Cancer Foundation. The Foundation is very focused on raising awareness around therapies that provide gentle yet effective cancer care. They believe in an integrative, whole-being approach and they help cancer patients discover the ‘dis-eases’ in their lives so that they can heal all the aspects that contributed to the cancer. I’m impressed with them that they don’t try to sell anyone on their ideas/solutions; they simply share information so that the patient can make an informed choice. Best Answer for Cancer Foundation also searches out medical providers of these integrative therapies: the physicians are vetted by a Medical Advisory Board and then listed on a website for patients to find. Again, they do not make referrals but just provide information, believing that the choice of a physician should be the patient’s.

As a Board member and IPT practitioner, I've been especially impressed with Best Answer for Cancer's commitment to patients. They provide an incredibly valuable resource for prospective patient looking for physicians and have even helped patients in their fundraising efforts. The executive director, Annie Brandt, deserves special praise for her tireless devotion to spreading the word about IPT.

This nonprofit organization was founded by cancer survivors and spends every effort to ensure that patients and families of those suffering from cancer are fully informed about their diagnosis and all available treatments for them. They will also provide financial support for those that qualify.

Best Answer for Cancer supports both doctors and patients. The group underwrites an annual conference for practitioners where research, protocols, and treatment options are disseminated. This allows doctors to remain abreast of the latest protocols, offering the patients the latest and most efficacious treatment. I highly recommend this organization for both patients and health care professionals.

As a board member, I've seen firsthand how the foundation has helped many cancer patients financially as well as offering much-needed educational materials. As a cancer patient myself, I've experienced, firsthand, the benefit of IPT. No slash and burn, no side-effects from chemo, no loss of hair nor dignity. I have recommended IPT to many people and we are all so happy to know there are therapies available beyond traditional western procedures. Please visit the BAFC website for more information if you, or someone you know, are searching for a kindler, gentler treatment for cancer.
