I volunteered with this organization throughout the fall of 2011, and the ability this organization has to do so much in so little time with such a small staff blew me away. Annie Brandt is a great leader and with her in charge, I'm looking forward to seeing the amazing work that this foundation will continue to do in the future.

When I looked around for volunteer opportunities, I found Best Answer for Cancer Foundation. I really liked their philosophy of helping cancer patients discover their particular ‘best answer for cancer’. The Founder and Executive Director is a breast cancer survivor herself, going on 11 years. Although she was told to get her affairs in order in 2001, she found her own best answer for cancer and is still alive and thriving. Annie spends a great deal of time on the phone listening to, and sharing information with, patients. This organization is very altruistic, doing what they do with no formal funding and an all-volunteer staff. I'm very proud to contribute, in any way I can, to this organization.
