Through my organization in Africa (Baobab Humanity Initiative), Beatsarcoma has received encouragement, aknowledgement and support from women in Benin for its work. Herve Gigot, an paint-artist from Benin express his support to Beatsarcoma through his last work in progress (18 paintings) inspired by Nathalie Criou and beatSarcoma.

The distance covered by BeatSarcoma since it was founded is astonishing. A small, dedicated, highly professional group of individuals are responsible for this success. The events are creative & fun, and I enjoy them that much more because I know that every dime I give BeatSarcoma is used to make a real difference. Nothing is wasted on the path to beating sarcoma.

They are very committed to making a difference in the fight against Sarcoma. With a small, scrappy, smartly run organization like BeatSarcoma, you can be sure any donations will truly go to supporting the cause, and they are always looking for good volunteers!

BeatSarcoma is a great organization not just because it's doing the needed thing--Beating Sarcoma---but because the organizers are wonderful and their spirit is unchallenged.

BeatSarcoma's goal makes perfect sense and deserves support and visibility. This not-so-well-know disease is kind of left-behind by the medical research effort and BeatSarcoma is just trying to overturn this situation. Besides research effort, BeatSarcoma tries to alleviate the pain the people affected by sarcoma have to bear. This ambitious goal is well served by an effective leader. She manages to raise interest by successful and fun events. Her great human skills, also enlightened by her own experience as a sarcoma survivor, just work magic: everyone becomes a supporter. All this non-profit needs is to gain visibility, with this it can really hope to beat sarcoma.

When you participate in BeatSarcoma events you can't help but want to help, and you can't help but have fun. The organizers make it easy to do both. Last year was the first sailboat regatta, with all proceeds going to research. You should have felt the vibe! The sponsoring yacht club has a winning formula for big regattas, and this event can't help but grow. We were so excited by it that we are going to be a sponsor this year.

Very friendly and cheerful, not downcast or pushy.

If I had thought of being a sponsor or donating prizes before last year's event.

This non-profit raises money for sarcoma research- which is a very underfunded cancer research area and therefore there isn't much known about it and there aren't many treatments for it. It was started by a passionate, driven, enthusiastic cancer survivor and she is inspirational! All the money raised goes to sarcoma research and the events are fun! So far I've been involved in a 5K fun run and a sailing race. The events are well organized and interesting.

provide competitive grants to sarcoma researchers at various cancer research institutions or set up a designated sarcoma research lab.

This is a great non-profit. The annual Beat Sarcoma Cup is a top notch sailing regatta with a great trophy and excellent group of skippers who participate each year. The event's proceeds go directly to fighting Sarcoma.

fabulous!

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

stop putting on events to raise money... Or it could put on a bunch of other events to raise even more money and hopefully Beat Sarcoma!

Ways to make it better...

Sarcoma was already beaten.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

fighting cancer.

One thing I'd also say is that...

the organizers are great!
