We have been affiliated with Beacon House for a couple of years and I am forever grateful for all they do. They are an amazing organization that very successfully help men finding their way in life, finding their purpose and learning to live the way they were intended to live, as happy, responsible and loving men. Thanks, to Beacon House we now have our son back in our lives and I honestly don't believe that could have happened without the people at Beacon House. I am thankful to them every day and we continue to give them all the help we can so they can continue the awesome job they do. Thank you all at Beacon House for all you do!

I have been associated with the men of Beacon House for several years. The organization is the best of it's kind. The men are wonderful, appreciative, kind and a wonderful asset to the City of San Pedro and surrounding communities. Just being around the House and listening to to their stories lifts my spirits and makes me want to strive to be a better person. I have attended graduations, their Bistro's and Community breakfasts and I have to say you won't find a better group of dedicated individuals who are giving back to everyone they touch. I belong to an organization called "The Wonder Women". Our prime purpose is to raise funds for Scholarships for the men. We are bursting with pride every time they tell us how well they are doing in school and how much they appreciate our donations. I can honestly say that I LOVE BEACON HOUSE. Marilyn Bennett

The Beacon House is a wonderful organization that has made a huge impact on so many lives. I've been honored to participate in several fund raising events and I've seen first hand how positive an experience the Beacon House is to the men in the program and the people who help outside the program. The Beacon House truly wants to help their men and the men truly want to be helped. I think that's why the Beacon House is so successful!

When I attended my first fund raiser for The Beacon House I was very impressed with several things. First, the men of Beacon House actively participated in the success of the fundraiser. They provided artwork for sale and prepared and served our dinner, which was delicious. We were given the opportunity to meet and interact with the men our funds were serving. Second, I was impressed by the fact that the men are expected to serve their surrounding community by performing voluteer acts themselves. This provides them with a sense of accomplishment and self-worth. Finally, it was made very clear that they are provided with occupational training and/or schooling giving them an exit plan. I used to participate in another program but it did not have any type of follow up or transition program for the participants rejoining society. This is not the case with The Beacon House - the men receive full and complete support in their transition. It is a wonderful and blessed program.
