BBYO is not just another teen group. It is a lifestyle. It is a way of life. The friendships and lessons I have mnade with BBYO will stay with me forever. BBYO gives Jewish teens the ability to learn, to teach, and to have fun. I wish it never had to end!

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

my leadership skills. I am growing into the woman I want to be.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

the friendships I've made. I will always stay connected with my BBYO friends.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

welcoming and friendly. They are amazing role models.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

expand more. We could reach every Jewish teen in the world. It could support and nourish future BBG's and AZA's to mold them into the leaders of the future.

Through BBYO, I have gained amazing leadership skills, way beyond those possesed by most other teenagers my age. I have made life long friends and had the opportunity to become involved in amazing community service projects. BBYO really gives teenagers a change to run their own organization.

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

my leadership skills and how I spend my weekends. I have met my best friends and planned some amazing events.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

try to get more teens involved and build stronger bonds between regions.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

I have been able to meet some very inspirational teenagers and inspire other teenagers in my region.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

very friendly and helpful.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

increase recruitment processes and provide even more scholarships to regional and international programs allowing more teens to be active in BBYO.

Ways to make it better...

if I could remain a BBYO member beyond high school.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

recruiting new teens and keeping them active and engaged. Everyone is so busy.

One thing I'd also say is that...

I owe all of my leadership skills to BBYO. I am so glad I attended by first event.

BBYO is the single best thing for any Jewish teenager to get involved with the BBYO experience, some of which includes bi-monthly meetings, social action projects, chapter sleepovers, laser tag events, dances, weekend long conventions at a hotel with the rest of our region and much, much more. we learn about our Jewish Heritage and world problems through fun and interactive programs and activities. Everything we do, we do as a chapter. Together, we participate in the movement to make a difference in the world by getting involved in community service projects and fundraisers. But becoming being a part of BBYO is so much more than meetings and programs or anything you can read in a brochure. It’s about discovering your true identity. It’s about expanding your horizons to learn more about yourself from people just like you. It’s about becoming a sister. It’s about becoming part of the sisterhood. I love this organization and any successes I've had so far are all from skills I've learned at BBYO. It is truly amazing how much of a difference it has made in my life.

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

everything. All the skills and experience I've gotten here have helped me get positions on other board I am involved in and have helped me get my summer job!

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

make it last longer than high school. Just four years seems too short.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

all of the leadership opportunites it opens up. Where else can a teenager have the power to hold a gavel in their hand, create agendas and run board meetings all on their own?

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

my advisors and regional directors who were always there to help. The allow me space to grow and learn but if i was struggling they would be happy to step in.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

change the world. The Stand Up! Campaign which is all about giving the teens a chance to make a difference and Stand Up for a cause they are passionate would flourish.

Ways to make it better...

there is actually no experience I would change. Even losing elections in BBYO doesn't take away from the experience because, as one of my advisors told me, sometimes those little bumps in the road make for a more interesting ride

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

the struggles to get new members. Membership is never easy but that's a challenge that isn't so much the faults of the organization but in the lack of intrest in religious youth groups.

One thing I'd also say is that...

I LOVE BBYO!
