Over the years I have spent much time at Baltimore Woods. Our family used to go cross country skiing in the winter. I have hiked the woods from the tops of the hills to the bottom where the babbling stream presents an atmosphere of tranquility and sheer beauty. I have watched the winter birds from the warmth of the main lodge, and taken part in the annual bird count. The most enjoyable season for me is springtime when I go to the Margaret Faust Wildflower garden and enjoy learning from the very well marked examples of many different wildflowers. The knowledge of the volunteers who lead the tours of the garden is exceptional. I have enjoyed the wonderful passionate presentations of John Weeks and the chance to see his paintings of flora and fauna.

Having a Family Membership at this great center, we have enjoyed many programs. My son loves the winter camp and we just all really enjoyed the Easter event. In addition, just talking a walk/hike throughout the grounds is free and a really beautiful atmosphere. We love it.
