The Bags4kids foundation supports the well being of foster care children with emphasis on keeping their dignity, compassion, knowing someone cares, and having a bag to keep their worldly possessions in. The foundation assist and supports the mental well being and comfort of the children during their stressful transition from home to police station, Children’s Service offices, foster care agencies and shelters. We collect donations in the form of new or used bags and fill them with various items that will bring comfort to children in this transitional time of their lives. Any monetary donations will be used to purchase the items needed to fill the bags i.e. toiletries (sample size), small toys, writing materials, Bibles, books and other items that can help pass the time spent at police stations or Children''s Service offices.

Programs: We fill over 1,000 backpacks and diaper bags a year. Our goal is to fill 1,500 per year.

Lajuana is one sweet, very kind woman, with a heart of gold. She has given tons of stuff to lots of children who are less fortunate. She has even given stuff for my kids like diapers, clothing, and toys. She has also given me clothing as well. She has put so many smiles on the faces of young children who were sad, and didnt have anything. Lajuana's foundation is a special one, don't see to many willing to help the way she does. Bags4Kids is the most wonderful non-profit organization i have seen in person.
